  • 1. What is Pixar Putt?
    Pixar Putt is a themed pop-up mini-golf course made up of 18 fun and interactive holes, inspired by the stories, characters and icons from some of Pixar’s most beloved films including Toy Story, Elemental, Cars, The Incredibles, Coco, Luca, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, Up, Ratatouille, A Bug’s Life, Wall-E, Inside Out, Soul, Turning Red, Lightyear and others. Join us at The Wharf and experience 18 holes of whimsical golfing fun!
  • 2. Is Pixar Putt just for kids? What age group is this experience for?
    Pixar Putt is for everyone! The course is quirky, fun and a challenge for adults as well as kids.
  • 3. What characters will be there?
    The course does not feature live characters, but there are photo ops featuring statues of Pixar Characters along with vibrant themed holes across the course that bring the beloved films to life.
  • 4. Where is Pixar Putt located?
    THE WHARF 580 Water Street SW, Washington DC Pixar Putt is located right next to the City Cruises* terminal at the southern end of The Wharf. Signage is in place around The Wharf guiding golfers to the course. For more information on getting to The Wharf, visit www.wharfdc.com/getting-here Course Hours Monday-Thursday: Tee Times from 12pm to 8pm Friday-Sunday: Tee times from 10am to 8pm Friday, and Saturday nights after 7pm are Pixar Putt After Dark. At these tee times, the course is reserved for golfers 18+. *Pixar Putt is not affiliated with City Cruises.
  • 5. Is there Parking on site?
    Yes! The Wharf has three parking garages on site. Garage 3 (located at 602 Water St SW) is located right next to the course and is the recommended parking location for Pixar Putt.
  • 6. How do I get to Pixar Putt by Public Transport?
    Metro Stations Waterfront Metro Station Green line One block to Waterfront Metro: Head southeast on Maine Avenue SW, which turns into M Street SW. After one block, the domed entrance to the Metro will be on your left, near 4th Street SW. L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station Blue, Orange, Silver, Green, Yellow lines 8-minute walk to L’Enfant Plaza Metro: Head north on 7th Street SW, turn right onto D St. SW, and the Metro will be on your right. You can also ride between The Wharf and L'Enfant Plaza Metro station on our free SW Shuttle. The SW Shuttle picks up passengers on 7th St SW at Maryland Ave SW.   • 7. Do I need to bring anything?
    We provide golf clubs, golf balls, score cards, and pencils around the course. Make sure to dress for a summer’s day! It can get warm on the course. You are welcome to bring water or purchase it at the entrance before playing.
  • 8. I have yet to receive my tickets by email - what do I do?
    All tickets are delivered via email. Tickets can be added to your Apple Wallet, Android Wallet, or shown through your email. You are also welcome to print your tickets at home. If you are having difficulty accessing your tickets upon arrival, head over to the entrance and a member of our team will get things sorted out.
  • 9. What happens when we arrive?
    When you arrive for your time slot, have your tickets ready to be scanned. We’ll greet all members of your party and bring you onto the course for you to experience all the fun Pixar Putt has to offer! Please wait for all members of your party to arrive to be scanned in.
  • 10. What if I’m running late?
    Your tickets are valid for up to 20 minutes after your scheduled tee time. If you arrive outside of your allocated time, there may be delays assigning you a tee time due to capacity restrictions. PLEASE NOTE: If you arrive late for the last tee time of the day, the course is unable to stay open any later than our closing time, so you may need to be rescheduled to a different day.
  • 11. How long does the experience last?
    Playing all 18 holes usually takes 60 to 90 minutes for parties of four. PLEASE NOTE: during busy periods, particularly weekends and evenings, there could be delays and it may take longer to play Pixar Putt.
  • 12. How many people are required for a team?
    Pixar Putt can be played by teams of 6 people or less, as is custom for mini-golf. If you wish to book a larger group size, you are welcome to do so, but the entire group still needs to split into smaller teams of 6 people or less.
  • 13. What happens to play in times of extreme weather?
    Your safety and comfort are the most important things to the Pixar Putt team! We check weather forecasts regularly and will notify all ticket holders if we must close the course due to extreme weather, including severe rain or high heats. In these instances, we will reach out to ticket holders to rebook their tee times or receive a refund if they are unable to reschedule. Feel free to reach out to customer service at support.showclix.com/s/contact if you are worried about the weather or want to rebook your tickets. Tickets can be rebooked up to two times. We are unable to offer refunds on tickets when the course remains open.
  • 14. Where can I buy tickets?
    Tickets are available for purchase at pixarputt.com or in-person on the course. Please note tee times often sell out, so it’s best to buy your tickets in advance!
  • 15. How will my Pixar Putt tickets be delivered?
    Your tickets will be emailed to you via our ticketing partner, ShowClix. Can’t find your tickets? Search ShowClix in your email or reach out to our customer care team at support.showclix.com/s/contact to receive a new copy of your tickets.
  • 16. At what age do I need a ticket for my child?
    All children over the age of 3 years require a ticket
  • 17. What ages does a Child Ticket cover?
    Child tickets are for players aged 3-12. PLEASE NOTE: Children under 3 are welcome to join a family group/team, free of charge, however the course has not been designed to cater to this age group. Children under 3 will not be assigned their own putter (golf-club) or ball. You may wish to pair your under 3 child with a sibling or friend, in order to share their putter and ball, to play some of the simpler holes but not the entire course. We ask parents/guardians of children under 3 to be mindful of other paying patrons on the course following behind your team, as children under 3 tend to take longer to complete a hole. Please remain aware and considerate in order to avoid holding up play for other patrons on the course.
  • 18. Do I need to purchase a ticket to accompany my child?
    All children ages 3+ must have a ticket and be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. For children under 3, all accompanying adults must have valid tickets.
  • 19. What does a Family Pack include?
    Family Pack tickets include play for either of the following: 2 x Adults and 2 x Children OR 1 x Adult and 3 x Children.
  • 20. I have purchased the wrong tickets. Can I change them?
    Of course! Please reach out to our customer service team at support.showclix.com and they’ll get things sorted. Please note: We cannot accommodate more than two re-bookings for one order.
  • 21. Am I able to get a refund on a ticket?
    We are unable to offer refunds on purchased tickets. All tickets are available for ticket insurance through ShowClix’s insurance partner, FanShield. Learn more here: https://support.showclix.com/s/a/Ticket-Insurance-FAQs
  • 22. Can I use my ticket multiple times?
    Each ticket guarantees entry for one slot, only. We do welcome you to purchase tickets for another slot and enjoy a second go-around on the course! Many guests discover new things to love every time they play!
  • 23. Is it accessible?
    Guests with mobility issues are welcome to play Pixar Putt, but due to the height of the golf holes some aspects of play will be challenging. Because of this, we invite guests who utilize wheelchairs, or are unable to climb steps, to play for free. Simply inform a Pixar Putt team member when the rest of your party checks in.
  • Can I go on the course without a ticket?
    Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate guests without a ticket, even if only one member of your party is playing. Anyone who enters the course must have a ticket.
